and a member of Silas D. Prather Post, G. A. No. 530, of Bourneville, died at his home there very suddenly this morning at four o'clock, of heart failure.

The deceased was married four times. his last wife and six children by his first wife surviving him. He was aged 72. The funeral will be held from the E. church Friday morning at 10 o'clock.

Rev. Thomas will officiate. The funeral will be under the auspices of the Post. A Day of Sport On New Year's Day, January 1st, 1901, there will be a great, large turkey shoot and prize contest at the "Kee Katsa ball grounds," at Bier's Run, about five miles west of Chillicothe the Frankfort pike. Among the features of the entertainment will be a real English sparrow shooting match for a prize and another of much quantity and good quality will be a whole dressed beef.

Park, was born near Chillicothe, Ohio, Oct. 9, 1850. Died Dec. 7, 1900; aged 50 years, 1 month and 28 days. She was united with the Methodist church when about 16 years of age and for many years was a faithful member and Sabbath school teacher.

She was married to John W. Sheetz Feb. 16 1871, near Chillicothe, and to them were born nine children, six sons and three daughters, seven of whom, with the father, mourn her loss. Her single life was spent in county and her married life was spent there until March, 1884 when they moved to Clark county, near South Charleston. For the past four years she has been a patient sufferer from Bright's disease, and all was done that loving hands could do to stay its progress, but all to no avail.

Always patient and loving, even in her last illness she spared no pains to minister to the welfare and comfort of her dear ones. At the time of her death she was a member of the Presbyterian church of South Charleston. Her end was one of peace. Convalescing. Mrs.

The man arrested Thursday, who had a fur buggy robe that he could not account for, and who gave the name of James Kerry, was discharged Tuesday morning for the want of evidence prosecute: In the evening he was arrested again in a drunken condition, and had in his possesion a padlock, knife and a chamois skin, articles that he had not when" dismissed In the morning with orders to leave town within-an-hour. Letters in his possession showed his real name to be Thomas Kearney, of Cincinnati, that he was of a respectable family and that he had been in the workhouse. A man frightened Ivy Stephens as she was passing through Mosher avenue Tuesday evening.

Patrolman Uhrig, to whom she reported the 00- currence, caught the individual, a stranger, and placed him under arrest. At the station house he gave the fetttious name of. E. R. Smith and wAs charged with loitering.
