Inventories Drop Off Some DETROIT (R--New car dealer inventories dropped 55,000 units to 810,000 cars during April, Ward's Automotive Reports said Wednesday. The May 1 figure is identical with the total on the same date last year. Ohio University Raises Its Fees ATHENS, Ohio (-Ohio University fees will be higher in September. The university has announced a $20 per semester increase in fees and $18 per semester hike in board rate, making fees comparable to those being charged by other state universities. The increase raises the comprehensive registration fee for one semester from $115 to $135, while the $1 a week board rate hike brings the semester's bill to $234. In addition, the fee for non-state residents will be advanced $25 to $285 per semester.

Charles Simmons, introduced Clyde Moss who showed colored slides of his trip to Europe. Also included in the slides were local scenes. The group participated in a discussion of current events. Trapped Laddie Burned to Death DAYTON, Ohio (R--Four yearold Terry Jillison was burned to death Wednesda while his frantic mother tried to break into a garage where he was trapped.

Police said the boy and two companions were playing with matches in a garage at the rear of a neighbor's home when the boy's clothes were ignited. The two other children became panicky, police said, and in fleeing from the garage slammed the door, automatically locking it. The boy was freed by the neighbor, Curtis Hicks, who unlocked the garage door. The boy died shortly after he was received at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
